Fyn Rundt er Danmarks ældste kapsejlads og startede i 1934 på initiativ af Odense Sejlklub.
I 2000 forlod Odense Sejlklub Korshavn på Fyns Hoved som startplads og flyttede til Kerteminde i samarbejde med Kerteminde Sejlklub.
Samtidigt skiftede sejladsen navn til det nuværende Classic Fyn Rundt.
I 2010 overtager Kerteminde Sejlklub ansvaret for Classic Fyn Rundt og vil føre sejladsen videre i den gode ånd, som blev grundlagt tilbage i 1934.

The Classic Fyn Rundt Distance Regatta or Around Funen, is the oldest distance regatta in Denmark, and started back in 1934 at the initiative of Odense Sejlklub.
In the year 2000 Odense Sejlklub left behind the starting place for many years, Fyns Hoved, and moved to Kerteminde in cooperation with Kerteminde Sejlklub.
At the same time the name of the regatta was changed to the present The Classic Fyn Rundt Distance Regatta.
In 2010 Kerteminde Sejlklub took over the responsibility for Classic Fyn Rundt, and will continue the regatta in the good spirit, which was founded back in 1934.
